Lapponia and Christophe Burger met on the Basel Fair through the famous gem cutter Bernd Munsteiner
A first trip to Helsinki took place in January 1986 to meet Lapponia management team
Various trips in 1987 and 1988 were dedicated to discovering the company's specific know-how,
to design the first collection and to plan a strategy
Christophe Burger's first gold collection was launched at the Design Forum in Heslinki in March 1989
Burger ended his collaboration with Lapponia in September 2014
Lapponia's specific and unique adventure was unfortunately and definitely stopped in fall 2020.
